Artist #19: Emily McCoy

Emily McCoy is the owner of Daisy Dog Studio, which designs beautiful porcelain tableware that has been featured in several magazines including House Beautiful and O at Home. She has a Textile Design degree from Fashion Institute of Technology. An animal rights activist for 20 years, she was fortunate enough to have a stray pit bull become part of her family, and eventually inspire her to go into business for herself. Daisy Dog Studio was named for that very pit bull! She donates dog bowls to Out of the Pits, Animal Haven and other rescue groups to sell to help run their non-profits, and donates 5% of her "human-related" products to other animal organizations. She is currently working on a line of screen and block printed home textiles. Her first prints will be of her beloved Daisy.
